3. AI Food Analysis

Keto.app features an AI-powered tool to analyze the foods you eat. When you use this feature, the specific food details you input are routed through our servers to a third-party AI provider. Our servers act as a secure proxy during this process, ensuring that your IP address and other identifiable device information are stripped and not shared with the AI provider. We do not permanently store your food logs on our servers.

4. User-Submitted Content (Recipes)

If you choose to use the app's feature to share recipes and pictures, that specific content will be transmitted to our servers. Because we do not use user accounts, this content is not linked to a personal profile, but the recipe details and images themselves are collected so that we can review, edit, and potentially publish them.

5. Analytics and Usage Data

To improve Keto.app, we use third-party analytics services (Firebase, Crashlytics, and Amplitude). We will ask for your explicit consent before enabling these services.

• We only collect anonymous usage data, such as button taps, general device information, and basic demographics (e.g., gender).

All purchases and subscriptions are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information. To manage subscriptions and ensure you receive the features you paid for, we use Adapty and Tenjin. These services only receive anonymous identifiers related to your subscription status.

7. Customer Support

We use Zendesk to handle customer support inquiries. When you open a support dialogue with us, Zendesk automatically receives basic technical information to help us assist you, including your IP address, general location, device model, and an anonymous analytics ID. We only know your name or email address if you voluntarily provide it during the support conversation.

8. Tracking, Advertising, and Affiliate Links

We do not serve targeted advertisements in our app, nor do we track your data for advertising purposes.

• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS devices, we may request ATT permission strictly for attribution purposes (understanding where our users come from), not for ad targeting.

3. User-Generated Content (Recipes)

Keto.app allows users to submit recipes and accompanying photographs. By submitting a recipe, photo, or other content to Keto.app, you grant developer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in any media. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit and that our use of it will not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Keto.app offers subscriptions and lifetime purchase options.

• All transactions are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your App Store or Google Play Account Settings after purchase.
• We do not process refunds directly; all refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use Keto.app only for lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, scrape, or disrupt the app's functionality, our servers, or our third-party integrations (such as Adapty, Tenjin, or Zendesk). You also agree not to submit any recipes or photos that are offensive, illegal, or violate the intellectual property rights of others.
